There is no better way than to attend the EGA Church worship service on Sunday. Going to church is the only way to be a healthy Christian. In this post, I’ve listed 9 reasons to attend Sunday Service at EGA Church in Edmonton with Other Believers.

Why Should You Attend Sunday Service At EGA Church In Edmonton

The following are nine reasons to attend Sunday service At EGA Church in Edmonton

1. Obedience To God’s Word

The Bible encourages believers not to neglect to gather together for worship. Hebrews 10:25 says, “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

2. Communion With God

Worship services provide an opportunity for believers to draw near to God, praise Him, and experience His presence. Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

3. Spiritual Growth

Sunday worship services offer teachings from God’s Word that contribute to the spiritual growth of believers. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 states, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

4. Fellowship And Edification

Believers coming together in worship fosters fellowship and mutual edification. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 encourages believers to “encourage one another and build each other up.”

5. Corporate Prayer

Worship services often include corporate prayer, where believers intercede together. Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

6. Tithing and Offering

Sunday worship services provide an opportunity for believers to give tithes and offerings as an act of obedience and stewardship. Malachi 3:10 says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.”

7. Remembering the Resurrection

Sunday worship services traditionally take place on the Lord’s Day, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts 20:7 mentions, “On the first day of the week, we came together to break bread.”
